worth mentioning that can be used in a classroom.
MEDIA
Media
(singular medium) are the storages and transmission channels or tools used to
store and deliver information or data (http://www.medialiteracyweek.ca/en/101_whatis.htm)
Media it is categorized into three groups print media,
visual media and audio media.

TECHONOLOGY
Technology is the making, modification, usage, and
knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, and methods of organization,
in order to solve a problem, improve a pre-existing solution to a problem,
achieve a goal, handle an applied input or output relation or perform a

and technology has evolved and become more central to teaching and learning (D’
Angelo and Woosley, 2007).
Technology
play a large role in education. Therefore integrating technology in is an
important because of how technology act as change catalyst.

and technology equipment and programs strength learning process.
The following is the lists of media, technology
equipment and programs that has been currently used in the classroom. From
order one to more recent one (D’ Angelo and Woosley, 2007).
Chalkboard
.The chalkboard is a flat, vertical writing surface on which anything can be

is used for writing material that are delivered by a teacher or students in a
classroom
Overhead
projector.
An
overhead projector is a variant of slide projector that is used to display
images to an audience (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overhead_projector).
The
overhead projector (OHP) has value in almost all instruction in the classroom
it can be used under normal lighting condition. It is inexpensive to purchase
and maintain.
Overhead
projector (OHP) is applied by teachers in presentation of material in the
classroom.
Photographs. Photographs
is an image created by light falling on a light sensitive surface, usually
photographic film or electronic.
Most
of photographs are created using camera which uses a lens of focus the scene’s
visible wavelength of light into reproduction of what the human eye would see.
Photography
allows to expression of non-verbal way of emotions, thoughts, ideas, and
feelings as well as focusing on taking aesthetically appealing photographs.
Interactive
white board.
An
interactive whiteboard (IWB) is a large interactive display that connects to a
computer, whereby a projector projects the computer’s into the board’s surface
where user control the computer using a pen, finger and stylus.
Interactive
whiteboard are used in a variety of setting including classrooms of all levels
of education
Newspaper.
Newspaper is among of a print media which acts as an effective teaching aid to
social studies, they motivate the learners to know about the past events since
the pupils are interested on what is happening such as election or a recent
inversion (Singh, 2004).
Radio. Radio
originally device for entertainment purpose, the radio is now being widely used
for education by direct contact with a great personality (Singh, 2004).
Radio
applied in order to enable students to listen to the expect, the historian and
the scientist and fast rate

Computer and its
related technology
Computer
is a general purpose device that can be programmed to carry out a set of

Statistics is a software package used for statistical analysis. Long produced
