Would the use of new media actively engage students in purposeful practice that promote deeper learning so that students focus on underlying principle, theories, model and processes and not the superficial features of problem?

Introduction

The application of new  media in instruction is  inevitable in this era. The rapid change of technology forces teachers and learners go hand   with hand , this bring teachers and learners to be aware with the changes of technology.

Meaning of new media refers to on-demand access to content anytime, anywhere, on any digital device, as well as interactive user feedback, and creative participation. Another aspect of new media is the real-time generation of new, unregulated content.

In this context, new media refers to the use of new media (both teachers and learners) as a new to a user like face book, YouTube, blogs, Google, twitter, wikis and others media regardless of the generation time of the media
