THIS IS THE PRESENTATION ON THE QUESTION NUMBER 8 WHICH
STATES THAT;
HOW CAN A TEACHER AVOID RISKING OF INTEGRITY WHILE USING
EDUCATION MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY
CONTENT
• INTRODUCTION.
MEANING OF
INTEGRITY
EDUCATION
MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY
• MAIN
BODY. TOPIC-REPRODUCTION
SUB-TOPIC-ADOLESCENT STAGE.
-WAYS TO AVOID RISKING OF INTEGRITY TO ADOLESCENT.
• CONCLUSION.
• REFFERENCE.
Integration encompass ideological
assumption of being as a whole or a state of being a complete or undivided or
being together during studies in the classroom.(Vlachou.A).
Also integration is the quality
of always behaving according to the
moral principles that you believe in so that people respect and trust you.
Education media and technology is the use of scientific ways in imparting knowledge , skills,
attitudes and behaviour to the learners
who are able and disabilities. Means diversity
students in the classroom by
using tools like TV,COMPUTER, RADIO and CD’S etc
FOR EXAMPLE; TOPIC-REPRODUCTION. SUB-TOPIC-ADOLESCENT STAGE.
Adolescent stage is a period when a child experiences
different growth of the body showing some indicators like growth of breast for
girls, change of voice for both boys and girls (softness for girls and bass for
boys), the growth of pubic hair to both boys and girls, for boys ejaculation
during night and menstruation cycle for girls, masculine body for boys and
broader hips for girls.
INDICATORS OF ADOLESCENT

THE RISK ASSOCIATED BY ADOLESCENT STAGE ;
• To
practice on the use of their organs by starting doing sexual intercourse.
• During
presentation of the topic may cause the vague in the classroom.
• Some
students may start to feel boastful towards their teacher. Etc.
WAYS ON HOW A TEACHER CAN AVOID RISKING OF INTEGRITY WHILE
USING EDUCATION MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY.
SCHOOL MUST USE TECHNOLOGY THAT EMPOWER TEACHERS
Teacher rightly rejects education technologies that divert
their attention from instruction.
Use of social media:
Personal use of social media
Social media may
include social networking sites such as, facebook, MySpace, or linked in. it
can also include instant messaging (SMS), geo-spatial tagging such as,
foursquare and video or photo sharing websites such as, YouTube. The school recognizes
that you may use these and other social media in your school time table. And
does not intend to discourage nor unduly limit your personal communications or
online activities. However, you should recognize the potential for
damage to be caused (either directly or indirectly) to the school and possibly
other learners groups in certain circumstances through personal use of social
media, particularly, if you can be identified as a class teacher. Therefore,
you should be aware of the risks and ensure that any risk of damage or
detriment is minimized. You are responsible for the content you publish from
your social media platform.
You should not:
• Post
material that is, or might be construed as, threatening, harassing, bullying,
discriminatory or disparaging towards another learners of the school.
• Imply
that you are authorized to speak on behalf of the head teacher or the school,
or give the impression that any views you express are those of prepared to
teach.
• Use
or disclose any confidential information or personal information obtained in
your capacity as a subject teacher.
OTHER WAYS IN AVOIDING RISKING OF INTERGRITY
A teacher should treat the adoption of technology as part of
lesson planning. A teacher should use new technology in preparation of scheme
of work, lesson plan and lesson notes. For example; a teacher presents course
materials and instructions in a variety of modalities- verbal, visual.
A teacher should not fear-open- source technologies. Encourage
learners to use technologies. For example; Facebook , computer.
Teachers should not believe that education technologies are
expensive and complicated to use. Use online education portfolios to evaluate
students.
Learners have known about the benefit of paper based
portfolios for generations. For example, to know the prior knowledge of the
learners about the topic. Be patient with student responses. Because of delay
in interpreting and CART supports, there will be a delay in response keep
casual eye contact with the student as he or she answers.
Teachers should embrace the common core state standards. Teacher
should use education media and technologies which are known to every learner so
as to avoid risking of integrity.
CONCLUSION
Teachers should use education media and technologies that
are inexpensive, easy to use and improve student learning so as to avoid
risking of integrity while using education media and technologies in the
classroom and daily communication
